You know when you stare so hard at the laptop screen and start tapping your fingers on the table, wishing that inspiration for some writings would hit you out of nowhere. That is what’s happening right now, as I attempt to churn out some sort of opening for this blog post. However, my mind is still pretty blank though I’ve typed quite a few lines since the beginning. The title of this post is another telltale sign of my lack of inspiration for any creative name. Nope, no luck with inspiration this time round. Hence I’ll just head straight to the point.
Golden Mile Complex and Rochor Centre. Two very old buildings, but each with its uniqueness that is not overshadowed by their modern counterparts. Where better can I channel my inner hipster/sporty self and pretend to be cool than these 2 places. And not forgetting that Golden Mile Complex has some really great Thai food at affordable prices.
I seldom am in front of the camera, and it proved to be quite a weird experience. It’s like, all of a sudden you have 2 or 3 cameras pointing at you all at the same time, and all of a sudden you’re super self-conscious and you gotta keep a straight face (which is hard, and I almost always ended up bursting out laughing). So thank you Nan Fang, Melvin, and Juliana for these really cool photos of me.
