Day Trip to Japan

The title of this post sounds like a potential scenario that might happen in the future, where teleportation is possible. Because at current time, one would spend half a day just on travelling and money-wise it is highly unfeasible (for a soon-to-be-an-undergrad who only has a temporary job). So. To satisfy our inner wanderlust, we decided to explore this Japanese Cemetery Park that's located in Kovan.

It was raining that day, which was a little inconvenient (having to carry a wet umbrella around and walking on slippery stone pathways). However, the rain added a tinge of mystique and tranquility to the air. It felt really peaceful just walking around, under the floral tunnel and past the lush, big trees.

Despite it being right next to housing estates, you really feel isolated from the rest of the world once you step in. There's some sort of zen vibes in the whole area, and you'll feel like you're in Japan, instead of being in Singapore.

Aaaand that's the end of this post. See you back on this space very soon!
