Hey guys!
So recently I finally answered my heart's calling and went on a solo photography trip around Dakota Crescent. At 12 noon. I'm not sure if that was a good idea, with the blazing heat and the harsh light (never a fan of the latter. Or both, actually.)
Dakota Crescent is a housing estate built back in the 1950s. The place has this really laid-back feeling, but unfortunately the buildings will be taken down in the near future.
The cream and pink colour scheme, the peeling walls, the vintage playground...all these just add charm to the neighbourhood. Also, so many residents have green fingers, and their doorsteps are filled with plants! Not forgetting all the cats in the neighbourhood. I think I saw at least 6 cats! I managed to take photos of 4 of them, as they were lazily taking their afternoon naps. The other 2 just kept running away from me. Sheesh. I think I might start a hashtag #CatsofDakota? /inserts sheepish grin/
All right, I will let the photos do the talking now :)
Till the next time,
Elsa
